Job Title: Production Team LeaderJob Location: Westbrook, MEJob Type: Contract (possible extension)Pay: Weekly Pay Starts at $28 an hourShift Structure: 1st Shift 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM2nd Shift 2:00 PM - 10:30 PMONSITE, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per weekAbout the Production Team Leader Role: Provide guidance to the team in order to produce quality products, seek continuous improvement, and achieve established goals and targets for safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Oversees and coordinates the work of employees in a specific production area
  • Trains new employees and current employees being cross trained within a specific production area.
  • Enhances productivity by finding inefficiency and recommending solutions
  • Works closely with the Production manager and Supervisor to ensure all production objectives are met or exceeded
  • Improves production process as part of a team (safety, scrap, productivity and downtime).
  • Provides objective input for performance evaluations of the team members in a specific area
  • May directly supervises employees in the Production Department (work cells/teams).
  • Responsibilities could include interviewing and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; providing input on appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

About You: The ideal candidate for the Production Team Leader will have the following skills and experience:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 2+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Prior experience utilizing GMP practices/techniques.
  • Medical device manufacturing experience preferred
