Job DescriptionJob DescriptionRicebox is a highly exclusive Chinese eatery in Syracuse, NY, offering the highest quality Chinese food in the region.

We are beginning to offer delivery service for the first time in our 15-year history.

We are looking for a hard-working individual to help us with the delivery service.

Responsibilities may include:
  • Receive and track incoming orders
  • Verify and package orders for delivery service
  • Answer phone calls and interact with customers as needed
  • Assist in maintaining proper food quantities
  • Clean and sanitize dishes, cookware, and utensils
  • Clean and sanitize food preparation work stations
  • Assist in the food preparation process by cutting, chopping, slicing, and washing vegetables, meats, and other ingredients
  • Follow all food health and safety requirements
  • Assist with the unloading of deliveries and their proper storage
  • Communicate kitchen needs to supervisors
  • Physical ability to stand for an entire shift and lift 50+ pounds
  • Willingness to work weekends and nights
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Existing knowledge of food safety procedures preferred
This is a part time position offered at minimum wage. This is an average estimate, and actual take-home pay varies based on availability.
