Two openings exist for summer tour guide at Fort Roberdeau Historic Site in Sinking Valley, Blair County, Pennsylvania. Our hires greet, welcome, and inform all visitors; lead tours of the site; assist with heavy-volume school tour times; ready tour stops in between tours; and perform light cleaning of display areas and the gift shop.

Requirements

Qualified applicants will be at least 18 years old at time of hire and hold a high school diploma or GED; dependability and reliability to be available for what may be varied hours (including weekends); strong customer service orientation, interpersonal relations, and communication skills; and an interest in learning.

Benefits

The hourly wage is $11.00. Position will last approximately 500 hours from roughly April 1 to October 1. Hires must successfully complete a post-offer, pre-employment drug screening as well as Pennsylvania and federal background checks. EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER
