CNC Machinist

We are looking for a qualified candidate to fill our CNC Machinist Position. They will be responsible to operate, program and set up CNC Machines (Lathe and Mill) as instructed to produce in accordance with specified requirements. Is directly responsible for the quality of work performed.

***Must be an experience VTL Operator with Fanul Control experience.***

Essential Duties:

1. produce products in accordance with specified requirements

2. program equipment to meet specified drawing and other requirements

3. make offset and program changes to improve efficiency

4. record and analyze data as required

5. keep Supervisor informed of developments during the manufacturing process (when work is completed, any nonconformance occurrence, machine problems etc..)

6. keep the work area in a neat and orderly condition

7. assist CNC operators with set ups and program adjustments

8. keep track of and transfer all pertinent information to products (job/serial/heat number, etc.)

9. keep equipment oiled and lubrication levels properly maintained at all times

10. work with other departments within the organization to achieve high efficiency of the company

11. other duties and tasks as assigned or requested by the department manager/supervisor

Skills:

1. must be experienced with CNC machines

2. must be able to read blueprints

3. must be able to use precision measuring instruments

4. must be able to communicate effectively

5. a self-starter and able to complete tasks with a minimum of guidance

6. must be detail oriented, organized and ability to multi-task

7. interpersonal and communications skills, both verbal and written

8. assign priorities and resolve conflicts within daily routine tasks

9. must be able to read, write, and speak English

10. must have valid certification to operate forklift and overhead crane
