Next Generation in VT is looking for a Preschool Teacher to join our team. We are located at 135 Talcott Rd in Williston. The ideal candidate for this position will share a passion for working with children and show eagerness to provide support in a fast-paced environment.

We are a nature-based Early Education program and are looking for a teacher to join our expanding program.

Our ideal candidate is attentive, motivated, and engaged.

We are looking for Assistant Teachers and Teachers that meet the qualifications in the VT regulations. We are willing to train the right people.

Responsibilities

  • Provide coverage in various classrooms to provide support in maintaining compliance with teacher/child ratios as directed by the supervisor
  • Supervise and monitor children's indoor and outdoor activities
  • Keep records of children's progress, routines, and interests and relaying needed information to parents
  • Assist in preparing food and serving meals
  • Maintain a clean and sterile environment

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in this field is a plus
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift, bend and stand
  • Ability to obtain CPR certification and pass a background screening
