We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate adult psychiatrist to join our growing multispecialty medical clinic. As a part of the behavioral health team, you will work in collaboration with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality mental health care to our patients. The ideal candidate will have experience in diagnosing and treating adults with various mental health disorders.


Duties and Responsibilities:

-Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments

-Develop individualized treatment plans for patients

-Prescribe medication and monitor treatment response

-Provide psychotherapy and counseling to patients if desired

-Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care

-Maintain accurate and timely medical records


We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development. Physicians are hired with a first-year salary plus incentive. Partnership is offered at the beginning of the second year with a $100 buy-in. Clinic is 100% owned by practicing physicians. All physicians are on equal footing after the first year (no seniority ownership or benefits). Income with partnership status is commission-based. Health and disability insurance are covered 100 percent. Other benefits include 401(k) and profit-sharing plans, CME, and coverage for board examination. Tanner Clinic was established over 100 years ago, has more than 165 physicians, and enjoys an excellent reputation in the community. Physician satisfaction is high and turnover is extremely low. Requirements:

-Medical degree from an accredited US medical school

-Completion of an ACGME approved residency program in general adult psychiatry

-Board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry

-Active and unrestricted Utah medical license, or ability to become licensed

-Strong communication and interpersonal skills

-Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals

-Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
