Seeking a Construction Inspector to work in our Jackson, MS location. This part-time role, 16-hrs a week, working 4 hrs/day for 4 days/wk on-site.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience providing construction oversight for water treatment plant projects.
  • Experience only on wastewater treatment plant could be sufficient as long as experience is in areas typical of water treatment plant projects as well, see next bullet.
  • Specific areas that the individual would provide oversight on would involve concrete, mechanical equipment (pumps, valves, motors), electrical, instrumentation and controls, sitework, etc
  • Experience with preparing construction inspection logs, reviewing construction drawings/specification to assess contractor compliance, good written and verbal skills, history of working within a construction team/reporting to a construction manager.
  • Located in the Jackson area.
  • Proven experience working as a Construction Inspector
  • At least 10-years of experience in construction
