Summer Landscaping/Maintenance Helper

We are looking for a person who can work this summer, on landscaping jobs - such as mowing, blowing, trimming, pool maintenance, as a general maintenance helper. This is a part-time position at our high-end Lenox bed&breakfast inn. This is a great job for someone who enjoys varied primarily outdoor work, being busy, and likes being part of a small, high-performing team.

Position starts in mid-June through Labor Day. There is the possibility of ongoing, occasional work after the summer season. Hours per week will be in the range of 10-20, and at least one weekend workday is required. Hours can be flexible, but we are looking for someone who is able to start the day at 7 AM.

We are looking for someone with the following key qualifications:

• Ability to lift 50 pounds and able to be engaged in physical tasks for the majority of the workday
• Previous experience in landscaping, pool maintenance and as a helper with building-related tasks.
• Positive, upbeat attitude and a desire to interact with and help our guests have a wonderful stay in the Berkshires
• Ability to work well with other team members
• Reliable transportation to work
• Recommendations showing a responsible and successful work history in at least one job

You will report to the head innkeeper. Compensation will start at $19.00 per hour, depending on experience.
