Cashier

Job Summary:
As a Cashier at DELLA Auto-North Region, you will be responsible for processing all cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently. You will also be responsible for maintaining a positive and friendly atmosphere for customers, providing exceptional customer service, and assisting with administrative tasks. This full-time, hourly position is located in Plattsburgh, New York and reports to the dealership management.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a courteous and professional manner, both in person and over the phone
- Process all cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently, including closing out end-of-day reports
- Ensure the accuracy of cash drawer and make deposits as necessary
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and inventory management
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any questions or concerns from customers
- Work closely with other departments to ensure a smooth and efficient operation
- Act as a brand ambassador for DELLA Auto-North Region, promoting brand loyalty and customer satisfaction

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in cash handling and customer service
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Basic understanding of accounting and administrative processes
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Flexible schedule, including occasional nights and weekends
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (preferred)
