NAU Urology Specialists is looking for an individual who can manage all clinical operations of the practice. Our four offices service 7 physicians and 6 APP’s. We have over 20 clinical staff, current responsibilities include the management of clinical supplies. We are a patient-focused practice and expect a great deal from our clinical staff, which requires constant quality improvement and training. Our expanding clinical operations will need someone with an administrative background to help support our growth and a clinical background to get their hands on the clinical operations. 


Key Responsibilities 


    • Training of Medical Assistants including continuing education
    • Management of time/overtime
    • Scheduling specialty procedures
    • Managing staff boxes 
    • Manage lab charges and relationships with lab companies
    • Manage prior authorization staff and medical record requests
    • Reviews for clinical staff
    • Purchasing medical supplies
    • Purchasing medical equipment
    • Be a point of contact for product representatives
    • Controlled Substance Inventory and management
    • Crash Cart Management/AED Monthly Check
    • BLS/ACLS certification coordination
    • Report clinical metrics.
    • OSHA/CLIA Compliance
    • Communication with Providers
    • Manage clinical patient complaints

Clinical Responsibilities

      • Understand the clinical flow of the various providers. 
      • Know all office-based urologic clinical procedures and equipment.
      • Patient Education
      • Integration with other administrative units

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in healthcare management or administration preferred
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
