Position Overview:

The Resident Experience Manager’s mission is to deliver a singular and unique resident experience.

Mission: To focus on proactive improvements in processes, procedures, and policies that drive positive results for leasing and resident retention for Auben Realty.

Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Associate degree is strongly preferred

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in property management
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills

Essential Job Functions:

1. Oversee and manage prospect applications for available properties.

2. Oversee and manage the new resident move-in experience:

  • Paperwork and deposits
  • Lease signing
  • Scheduling move-in inspections
  • Follow-up communications

3. Provide guidance and support to residents' requests, questions and concerns.

4. Oversee and manage the resident renewal process (including Section 8):

  • Analyze renewal reports.
  • Create and generate resident renewal offer letters.
  • Manage corresponding negotiations and additional paperwork.

5. Oversee and manage resident move-outs:

  • Review Move-Out Instructions with residents who have turned in his/her Notice to Vacate.
  • Schedule Move-Out Inspections
  • Assess damages and assign appropriate fees, and other charges.
  • Coordinate deposit refunds with accounting.

6. Oversee and manage delinquent or past due accounts:

  • Assess late fees and charge appropriately.
  • Generate late notices.
  • Contact residents in regards to delinquent payments.
  • Manage and fill out appropriate eviction paperwork and attend court hearings when necessary.

Work Environment: Position is primarily located in a well-lit office environment.

Equipment Operated: Standard office equipment including computers, fax machines, copiers, telephone, calculators, etc.

Mental/Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is primarily sitting at a desk utilizing a computer.
