As the Medical Scribe for the Neuropathy Treatment Clinic of Oklahoma, you will play a vital role in the patient experience. The Medical Scribe works closely with our medical provider to achieve the best practice, medical documentation, and patient care.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Meets the patient's goals and needs and provides quality care by assessing and interpreting evaluations and test results.
  • Documents patient care services by charting in patient and department records.
  • Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks

Job Duties

  • Scribe for providers
  • Room patients & obtain chief complaint, vitals, medical history & neuropathy testing
  • Complete patient balance assessments
  • Draw labs & obtain lab results
  • Utilize EMR System Knowledge
  • Call in for Medication refills & fax for patient pharmacy needs

Hours

  • Monday – Thursday 7:00 am - 4:30 pm
  • Some Fridays, Annually

Experience

  • Family practice or pain clinic experience - minimum of 1 year
