As a Lead Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in molding the educational journey of our youngest learners, ranging from 6 weeks old to 12, 24, and 36 months. Duties

As a Lead Teacher at Aquarelle Kids Academy, your primary duties will include:
  • Planning and executing age-appropriate educational and developmental activities for Infants and children aged 24 to 36 months.
  • Creating a safe, stimulating, and enriching learning environment that fosters the growth and development of each child.
  • Designing and following a curriculum focused on the comprehensive development of children, including cognitive, physical, emotional, and social development areas.
  • Providing guidance and support to classroom teaching staff and assistants to ensure effective implementation of the curriculum and individualized child care.
  • Collaborating with parents and guardians to maintain open and constructive communication about children's progress and needs.
  • Regularly assessing children's progress and using results to adapt and enhance educational practices.
  • Participating in ongoing professional development activities to stay updated on best practices in early childhood education.
  • Maintaining accurate and complete records of attendance, progress, and development of children, as well as any relevant classroom incidents.
These responsibilities are designed to ensure the well-being and optimal development of children while creating an enriching and stimulating educational environment.

Requirements

As a Lead Teacher at Aquarelle Kids Academy, the following requirements are expected:
  • A bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • Previous experience working with children aged 24 to 36 months in an educational setting.
  • Strong understanding of child development principles and age-appropriate teaching methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and guardians.
  • Demonstrated passion for and commitment to early childhood education, with a genuine love for teaching and nurturing young children.
  • Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes the holistic development of children.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and creativity in lesson planning and curriculum implementation.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly in maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in the field of early childhood education.
  • CDA Preferred
  • FL DCF 45 hours highly preferred or willingness to complete within 90 days of employment

This position is Full Time. Monday – Friday. The pay is $13 -17 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.

These requirements ensure that candidates are well-equipped to fulfill the responsibilities of the Lead Teacher role and contribute positively to the educational experience and development of young children at our academy.
