Avionics Shop Technician Location

Sunrise, FL Pay/hours for position

$60K-70KRequirements of position

  1. Must have excellent analytical and research skills.
  1. Must be a self-starter
  1. Must have good organizational skills and the ability to effectively prioritize tasks.
  1. Must have excellent computer and technical skills (MS Office)
  1. Must be detail oriented.
Responsibilities of position

  1. Verify proper identification of articles being worked using current technical data
  1. (CMMs).
  1. Clean and visually inspect articles and sub-assemblies for damage and defects prior to dismantling or further inspection.
  1. Perform repair work: preliminary inspection, disassembling articles and sub-assemblies documenting on the teardown report raised by the Inventory Manager.
  1. Raise a Bill of Materials Parts Listing, logging all parts needed for replacement, and all consumable material used. Where replacement components are required, advise the planning department.
  1. Complete and document all work performed on the work order.
  1. Assemble articles and sub-assemblies including torque and safety wire lock as required.
  1. Final assembly and test as required of article using current technical data results to be documented on the work order
