Caregiver

Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and responsible Caregiver to join our team at Village Caregiving in Shinnston, West Virginia. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide care and assistance to our elderly residents in their homes. This position is Full Time and hourly, and will require you to work in Shinnston, West Virginia. As a Caregiver, you will play an important role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents and ensuring their safety and well-being.

Compensation & Benefits:
This is a Full Time, hourly position with a pay rate of $11 to $13 per hour, paid semi-monthly. Responsibilities:
• Provide compassionate and respectful care to our residents, following their individual care plans and preferences
• Assist your clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Prepare and serve meals and snacks, ensuring special dietary needs are met
• Engage and participate in activities and outings 
• Maintain a safe and clean environment and light housekeeping, laundry
• Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and other staff members

Requirements:
• Previous experience as a caregiver or in a healthcare setting preferred not REQUIRED
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Empathy and patience when working with elderly individuals
• Must pass a background check and drug screening
