Clinton Electric LLC offers comprehensive electrical design and installation, electrical maintenance services, solar design and installation, and excavating services. Catering to commercial, industrial, and institutional clients, they provide solutions for electrical design, equipment installations and repair, energy conservation, industrial automation, and more.


The Controller Position

The Controller will work directly with and for the President and CFO, supporting a variety ofaccounting and finance related duties. This includes, but is not limited to, account reconciliation, standard entries, AP/AR, inventory reconciliation, maintaining the accounting systems, preparing financial statements, financial reports, and anything and everything else that comes up in the Accounting & Finance area.This position will also participate in WIP meetings and job reviews with Project Management staff.


Experience, Skills, and Abilities of the Controller Position

  • Bachelors degree in accounting or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience
  • Construction accounting experience with understanding of WIP reports preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, specifically advanced features of Excel
  • Must have strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to be detail oriented with good follow-through and a sense of urgency in managing time and accomplishing tasks
  • Ability to evaluate information and make independent decisions

Compensation & Benefits for the Assistant Controller

The position is full-time and permanent with a competitive salary based on skills and experience and a yearly bonus. In addition, the Company offers Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance, along with a generous 401K plan. This position will be based in our South Bend, Indiana office.
