What it's like to be a BILINGUAL PhlebotomistAs a Full Time Bilingual Phlebotomist at Stone Diagnostics in Southeast Texas, you will play a crucial role in collecting blood from patients with precision and care. Your responsibilities include venipuncture and capillary techniques, ensuring specimen integrity and patient safety. Reviewing labels against lab orders, handling testing materials, and adhering to compliance regulations are key aspects of this role.
Maintaining the appearance of the blood collection area, managing inventory, and preparing specimens for transport will be part of your daily routine. Your role will also involve monitoring test results, collecting various samples, and proficiency in EMR procedures. By participating in training opportunities and meetings, you will have the chance to enhance your professional growth and development in the healthcare industry.

Would you be a great BILINGUAL Phlebotomist?To excel as a Bilingual Phlebotomist at Stone Diagnostics in Southeast Texas, you must possess a minimum of 3 years' experience in collecting blood from patients. A High School diploma or higher education is required, along with a current BLS certification. You should demonstrate reliability, dependability, and have experience in various specimen collections such as nasal, nasal mid-turbinate, nasopharyngeal, and oral swabs. A compassionate, ethical, and professional demeanor is essential, along with the ability to stand for extended periods. Proficiency in computer skills, attention to detail, accuracy, and strong organizational abilities are crucial for success in this role.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
