Cody's Clinic Receptionist

Cody’s Clinic at SPCA Westchester is seeking an outgoing clinic receptionist to join our team. Cody’s Clinic is a state-of-the-art, high-volume high-quality practice offering low-cost care to those in need, while also providing medical care for our Rescue Center’s animals and making a difference in the lives of homeless animals.

Cody’s Clinic Receptionist provides overall administrative assistance to clinic staff and management. This position is the primary contact with visitors and clients.

$16 per hour, Part-Time and Full-Time positions available, 8:00-4:30 pm

Duties Include but are not limited to:

• Answering high volume phone calls and messages in a professional and courteous way
• Schedule and manage daily appointments and forms
• Responsible for medical data entry and patient account information
• Run various reports and upkeep spreadsheets and filing system
• Support clinic staff by providing pre and post operative instructions to clients, as well as other clinical information  
• Provide other tasks as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong phone, computer, and customer-service skills
• Team attitude and the ability to work courteously and effectively with the public
• Good organizational skills, attention to detail, accuracy in work, and the ability to work without supervision and solve problems
• Ability to handle money accurately
