Position Summary

As a Trust Administrator, you will be responsible for effectively administering trust accounts and ongoing client relationships within regulatory guidelines. The Administrator will also collaborate with and periodically perform Trust & Wealth Management Coordinator duties as needed, including opening and closing of accounts, wire transfers, preparing reports, and administrative duties as needed.

  • Understanding and application of differences between individual, trust, and IRA accounts
  • Working knowledge of trusts, estate planning, and compliance with administering trust accounts
  • Exhibit and model a high level of professionalism, tact, sensitivity, and business etiquette

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. A master’s degree is also helpful.
  • Requires a minimum of 3-5 years progressively responsible work experience in trust administration, investments, legal/estate planning, or related area, preferably in Trust division with a bank.
  • Completion of relevant and timely financial industry education, i.e., industry webinars, seminars, and/or related coursework is preferred.
