Nelson + Pope is seeking qualified Construction Inspectors, Field Engineers, Resident Engineers and Office Engineers to work in out of our Melville, New York office. The infrastructure projects typically include roadway, traffic signal, stormwater, waterfront, recreational facilities, etc.

Responsibilities/Top Skills/Qualifications:

Daily observation of contractor's operations

Daily records and reports of work performed

Detailed measurements of work quantities

Review of shop drawings, change orders, RFIs, manufacturer certs, etc

Evaluating contractor proposals for modifications or substitutions

Preparation of punch lists

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Good verbal communication, written communication, and organizational skills
