Compliance Per DoD 8140 Qualification Matrix: Intermediate Proficiency Level

Education: A BS degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science, from an Accredited Board for Engineering and Technology accredited or Centers of Academic Excellence designated institution. Bachelor's Degree in related field (Master's preferred).

Experience: 5+ years of experience in network operations or a similar role. Experience with network hardware and software, including Cisco, Juniper, or other network devices (routers, switches, firewalls), and monitoring tools.

Personnel Certification: CND or Network+; CEH or CFR or Cloud+ or GICSP or SSCP or Security+ or GSEC; CCNA or GCIA or GCLD or GDSA or GFACT or CASP+ or CCNP Security or CCSP or GCED or GCIH.

Security Clearance: Secret required

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry network equipment (up to 50 lbs.) as needed.
  • Ability to work in a data center environment with exposure to various network hardware and systems.

In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $80,000 to $130,000 depending on experience and expertise; however, Sigmatech considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, experience, education/training, key skills, location and often contractual requirements.
