Job DescriptionJob DescriptionBASIC PURPOSE:
The DUI Instructor provides education on the effects of drugs/alcohol on driving, areas of life functioning, families, treatment resources, and countermeasures to driving under the influence of drugs/alcohol. The DUI Instructor maintains appropriate documentation that meets all billing, regulatory and certification requirements. The DUI Instructor is responsible for other duties mutually agreed upon.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree and/or at least two years of experience in substance abuse.
- For the DUI instructor, training consists of observing the eighteen hour DUI education component and providing this component under supervision.
- Comparable experience may involve employment in addiction treatment environments.
