Lead Lifeguard

Specific Job Functions:

• Provide assistance in assuring departmental staff complete their assigned tasks and adhere to company and pool policies and procedures.
• Provide assistance in assuring departmental staff is trained with safety procedures and company policies.
• Provide excellent guest service consistent with property’s service standards.
• Control quality of services provided within department.
• Works closely with supervisory and managerial staff to develop overall skills and growth.
• Provide assistance to Pool Manager in ensuring pool operations run smoothly.
• Assist in leading staff with a professional team building demeanor.
• Performs other job related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities/Qualifications:

• Minimum of (6) Six months previous lifeguarding experience.
• American Red Cross CPR/AED for Lifeguards certification required.
• American Red Cross Lifeguard training certification required.
• American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor certification preferred.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English, in both written and oral forms.
• Must have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
• Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance, adhering to Circus Circus standards.
• Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
