As the Clinic Clerk, you will perform various clerical duties to support the WIC Program.   • Answer incoming phone calls, check in/outpatients, schedule appointments, and assist around the clinic.
  • Complete and evaluate residency, identification, income, and immunization eligibility documents.
  • Explain WIC Program procedures, use of Texas WIC card, and food benefits to clients.
  • Conduct community outreach and referrals for clients needing services not provided by WIC.
Clinic Clerk’s Qualifications
  • A High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • One (1) year of clinical or administrative work experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not required.
  • Translation services are to be provided; languages other than English are required.
  • EMR: Epic experience and Adobe Pro are a strong plus.
