We carefully select each member of the team based on what they bring to the table to support our workplace culture and our technical work. We are ready to add a senior electrical engineer who can mentor other team members and provide technical experience on the projects.


The duties and responsibilities include:


• Understanding and implementing designs from technical drawings in collaboration with the engineering team

• Interacting with contractors and customers using verbal and written communication

• Making presentations to clients and coworkers

• Creating product documentation and records

• Preparing cost estimates for customers and other employees

• Inspecting electrical components during and after the product installation

• Testing electronics for problems and proposing solutions

• Advanced mathematical skills for calculation of design equations

• Excellent communication skills to explain technical specifics to peers and customers

• Writing skills for preparing manuals, parts lists, proposals and design documentation

• Ability to mentor technicians and other engineers

• Focus and concentration to understand complex electrical systems

• Self-motivation to keep up with current electrical advances using new technologies

• Using industry-specific tools to analyze and test electronics

• Time-management skills for meeting deadlines



Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and at least seven years of electrical engineering experience beyond internships and training is required.


Experience with medical devices is highly preferred. Ideally, the candidate will be familiar with ISO 9000 standards and other regulatory compliance like FDA and be experience with process documentation.


Humility, humor and ownership are critical characteristics in this position along with an ability to see the big picture and not just the immediate issue. Change is frequent since we are still in start up, so flexibility is required
