Position Overview: As a Plumbing Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in our Plumbing Department, working closely with technicians to manage service calls and maximize revenue potential. Your organizational skills and customer service excellence will be essential to our department's success and achieving our financial goals.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Service-Titan Proficiency: Learn and efficiently use Service-Titan CRM for dispatching tasks.
  • Schedule Management: Maintain and prioritize the daily schedule of calls to meet departmental budgets.
  • Revenue Tracking: Keep the Service Manager updated on revenue progress throughout the day.
  • Call Coordination: Update the Call Center Lead with calls needed to fill the schedule.
  • Field Support: Manage the whereabouts and needs of technicians in the field.
  • Appointment Confirmation: Confirm upcoming appointments for the department.
  • Technician Matching: Learn the strengths and weaknesses of technicians to assign the right tech to the right call.
  • Customer Communication: Build rapport with technicians and keep customers informed of their appointments.
  • Service Review: Review service calls and prior customer or location history to drive revenue.
  • Schedule Optimization: Promote same-day work and adjust the schedule to accommodate job completions.
  • Follow-Up Scheduling: Schedule return visits or sold work in a timely manner.
  • Call Prioritization: Reschedule low-priority calls to prioritize urgent and high-priority ones.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to multi-task with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Mastery of prioritization of tasks and responsibilities without oversight
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
  • Goal-driven and results-oriented
  • Resourceful, quick thinking, and adaptive
  • Experience with Service-Titan preferred but not required

Experience/ Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Sales experience is strongly desirable.
