REQUIREMENTS FOR SWIM INSTRUCTORS

As a swim instructor, you constantly work with kids and see them progress and reach their goals

as you apply to the British Swim School aquatics program. Even if you are not an expert swim

instructor, that’s ok We can train anyone on how to teach the way we teach, but here is what we

do need from you:

  • You need to be a “swimmer”. Ideally, you have an understanding of all four strokes and
  • an overall appreciation for the water
  • You MUST be available to commit to a 13-day paid training program (Mon-Fri from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm)
  • You've got to love working with children and seeing them progress
  • You need to be upbeat and ready to enjoy having fun at work. Having fun is mandatory
  • This is a year-round indoor position, and we are looking for longer-term employees. This is not a summer job
  • Be able to work weekend mornings (Saturday or Sunday or both) from 8:30 am-2 pm
  • Be able to start on weekdays at 3:30 pm
  • You need to be able to reliably commute to our pool location(s)
