Primary Duties for our Welder:
  • Build parts from raw materials to finished products, following customer specifications with minimal supervision.
  • Interpret welding and machining specifications to meet precise part requirements.
  • Perform MIG/TIG welding operations with precision and accuracy.
  • Run the first piece and meticulously verify its accuracy and quality against the provided print.
  • Utilize various measurement methods and tools to qualify parts, ensuring they meet the required specifications for customer acceptance.
  • Contribute to the production of low volume/high mix products, enhancing our speed to market.
  • Fulfill any additional duties assigned by the supervisor to support the overall manufacturing process.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following the 5S principles.
  • Adhere to personal protective equipment (PPE) guidelines and wear the required gear for a safe working environment.
Qualifications we’re looking for in candidates for this position:
  • Welding experience (MIG/TIG) and the ability to pass an internal weld test
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English
  • Possess basic knowledge of quality measurement devices
  • Demonstrated proficiency in basic math skills
  • Ability to follow verbal and written procedures accurately
  • Strong commitment to learning, attention to detail, and safety practices
