Leaders of Tomorrow Youth Center (LTYC) in Adelphi, MD, is looking for a Youth Crochet Instructor to join our innovative team. With a competitive salary of $25-28 per hour, you will play a vital role in shaping the creative future of our youth. Compensation:

$25 - $28 per hour

Responsibilities:
  • Create engaging and age-appropriate crochet lesson plans for youth participants.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity and skill development.
  • Provide individualized guidance and support to students to help them achieve their crochet project goals.
  • Maintain a safe and organized crochet workspace, ensuring all materials are readily available for use.
  • Collaborate with LTYC staff to evaluate and improve the crochet program curriculum based on student progress and feedback.
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in crochet instruction
  • Proficiency in various crochet techniques and patterns
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to effectively plan and manage crochet lessons
  • Competencies: US Work Authorization, Lesson Planning, Classroom Management
