K-8 PE Teacher

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSt. Sebastian STEM Academy and St. Joseph School is seeking a shared PE teacher for the 24/25 school year and beyond. This position generally is only at one school per day with identical curriculum/lessons for both schools. St. Sebastian STEM Academy is a newly reopened school consiting of 3K-1st grade. The PE requirement at ST. Sebastians is .25 FTE and the remaining .25 FTE will be spent in the classrooms as classroom support. The position at St. Joseph Academy is .5TE of just PE for grades 4K-8th grade. This is a full time position shared between these two schools.

Job Summary:
• Inspiring students and promoting mastery in subject area.
• Helping to develop and implement curriculum that aligned with Wisconsin State Standards and Common Core Standards as they evolve.
• Providing continual assessment of student progress and maintaining records.
• Continually evaluating instructional performance to meet the needs of the students.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in the appropriate subject area.
• Appropriate State of Wisconsin licensing and certification is preferred
• Knowledge of application of best teaching practices
• Ability to work in a high achieving school in a diverse environment.

Preferred:
• Demonstrate commitment to the principles of Catholic Faith.
• Elementary teaching experience
• Have general knowledge of transformative technology instruction.
