Job Summary:

We are currently looking for someone familiar with the area to join us as a Residential Fence Service Technician who is comfortable with repairs, installation, assessments, and remeasures when needed. The chosen candidate will need to demonstrate their ability to multi-task during the day while being extremely detail-oriented. At Chesley, we truly believe in honesty and family first as we have built our name on our relationships with our clients and longstanding commitment to do what we say we are going to do. The ideal candidate will be able to represent those values in every interaction they have with our Chesley clients.

 

Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
  • Responsible for cleanliness and organization of job sites, workspaces, and company vehicles
  • Handling and transporting materials and equipment.
  • Handle and use power tools (such as Jackhammers, drills, saws, etc.) safely.
  • Inspect trucks/trailer each morning to ensure that it is loaded safely and correctly per the service order.
  • Repair fence panels, gates, and posts according to Chesley Commercial Fence & Rail standards.
  • Assist with warranty and repairs.
  • Unload and clean the truck/trailer safely and correctly at the end of each day.
  • Interact with clients and co-workers pleasantly and professionally.
  • Reading and following plans or scopes of work
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be able to read plans, follow verbal instructions, and obey applicable safety regulations.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Must be able to pass a background check (No felonies or sex offenses)
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods, lifting heavy loads over 50 pounds for extended periods, repetitive tasks, and motions, etc.)
  • Strong desire to learn and do a quality job.
  • Ability to take and follow directions.
  • Be on time and ready to work every day.
  • Great attitude and strong work ethic
  • Must be a self-starter, motivated individual, with the ability to stay busy and efficient.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of fence installation experience
  • 2+ years of carpentry experience

 

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: $18-$25 per hour starting pay - based on experience
