Case Manager Supervisor
Hours: Wednesday- Saturday 12:00pm-10:00pm
Status: Full Time Full Time - Salaried Exempt
Reports to: SWHYC Program Director
Purpose:
Under the direct supervision of the Shannon West Homeless Youth Center Director, this position assists in the management and operations of the Shannon West Homeless Youth Center. Will primarily oversee case managers and success services coordinators, interact with residents, and act as an assistant to the director.
Qualifications, Education and/or Equivalent Experience:
- Bachelor degree in a Human Service Field and/or combination of education and experience, substantially equivalent.
- Ability to screen for mental health/family concerns, and make appropriate agency or community referrals.
- Knowledge about best practices, least restrictive level of care, and community resources for identified populations.
- Have a minimum of 2 years of experience supervising professional staff in a social service agency.
- Health Card
- TB Test
- CPR/First Aid certification
- Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug test. Random drug screening is performed.
- Valid Nevada Driver's license, and clean DMV record. Drivers' History Reports are required to be submitted on a quarterly basis.
Working Conditions:
Work is performed in an indoor/outdoor environment with driving required at times. May be subject to sitting, bending, squatting, walking, standing, lifting, pushing and pulling up to 10 pounds, simple grasping and climbing.
