QMAP Caregiver

We are seeking a compassionate and responsible QMAP/Caregiver to join our team You will assist in the daily care of adult individuals in a homelike environment.(Must be Covid-19 Vaccinated)

Hiring immediately for the following shifts: Weekdays and/or Weekends (weekend pay differential)

24 Hour shift (7am-7:30am)

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with daily care
• Light cleaning duties
• Prepare and serve meals to residents
• Lead and encourage participation with activities
• Communicate ongoing care results and updates to relevant parties
• Collaborate with clients and families for best care opportunities
• Maintain a healthy and comfortable living environment
• Administer medications according to written physician's orders

Qualifications:

• Compassionate and caring demeanor
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• High school or equivalent (GED)
• Strong multi-tasking abilities
• Strong self-management and organization skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to effectively handle difficult and sensitive issues and maintain confidentiality
• Adult CPR/First Aid certification
• Qualified medication administration personnel (QMAP) - Medication Tech

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements:

• Moderate physical activity required
• Constant standing, walking, and grasping
• Possible exposure to household chemicals
• Sits, stands, bends, and moves intermittently during working hours
• May have exposure to blood borne pathogens, body excretions and communicable diseases possible
• Frequent stooping and reaching above shoulder heights, occasional sitting, crawling, kneeling and squatting
