ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Master Electrician is responsible for overseeing and coordinating electrical infrastructure installations, repairs, and maintenance projects. They ensure that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with relevant codes and regulations. Additionally, they may provide technical guidance to junior electricians and assist in project planning and budgeting.
Some of the key responsibilities you should expect are the following:
- Perform electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks as needed.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to determine the layout and configuration of electrical systems.
- Ensure that all work complies with national, state, and local electrical codes and regulations.
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, or malfunctions.
- Troubleshoot electrical problems and develop effective solutions.
- Coordinate with contractors, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to plan and execute electrical projects.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior electricians and apprentices.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and hours worked.
- Estimate project costs and assist in budgeting and resource allocation.
- Stay current with advancements in electrical technology, codes, and safety practices.

ABOUT YOU
- Valid Master Electrician license.
- Extensive experience with medium and high voltage electrical infrastructure.
- Extensive experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks in various environments and conditions.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
- Experience managing operations of multiple sites simultaneously
- High degree of ownership, urgency, organization and grit
- Comfortable directing teams that operate 24x7 facilities
- Experience with electrical infrastructure, and site safety are required
- Experience with data center infrastructure is a plus.
- Experience with IT infrastructure is plus.
- Must pass a Motor Vehicle Check
ABOUT THE WORK ENVIRONMENT
This role is in office at our corporate headquarters in the Brickell area of Miami, Florida. The role requires business travel in both the United States and Canada. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
