DBS Staffing Services, Inc. is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Tech to join our Client. As a family owned staffing company, DBS takes pride in finding quality employment candidates and matching their talents to our clients that are in search of good help. In this role, the Apartment Maintenance Tech will be responsible for ensuring the quality and timely completion of all maintenance requests and repairs for an apartment complex. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.


Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on apartment units, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to ensure safety and livability standards are met.
  • Address tenant requests and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Coordinate with property management to schedule repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records of work orders and completed repairs.
  • Keep inventory of supplies and equipment and notify management when supplies need to be reordered.
  • Respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a maintenance tech in the multifamily industry.
  • Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry principles.
  • Basic computer skills, including experience with email and internet browsers.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
