Senior Accoutant

Our established real estate investment client is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their accounting and finance function to assist with their corporate accounting along with various ad hoc requests. This position offers the chance to be involved in multiple facets of the accounting function and provides exposure to additional responsibilities over time with a growing company. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

• Participate in full-cycle general accounting functions of the organization
• Assist with the month-end and year-end close process with heavy involvement in G/L account reconciliations, financial statement preparation, and related analysis
• Collaborate with accounting personnel to research and implement technical accounting matters
• Prepare information related to internal and external reporting on a monthly and quarterly basis
• Participate in ad-hoc accounting projects and identify areas for process improvements and efficiencies

The qualified Senior Accountant will possess:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting
• At least 3+ years of corporate G/L accounting experience – preferably in private industry OR public/private industry experience
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, interpersonal skills with senior management, and polished presentation skills
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment along with being pro-active and organized
• Experience with a medium-to-large ERP system and/or MRI is preferred

This opportunity provides a HYBRID working arrangement with two (2) days in office each week.
