Descripción general de la posición:

El Houseperson brinda apoyo entre la lavandería, las habitaciones de huéspedes y el mantenimiento del área pública para la limpieza y la apariencia. Este puesto transporta ropa y suministros limpios/sucios, elimina la basura, limpia todas las superficies duras/textiles y los baños dentro del espacio público y responde a las solicitudes de habitaciones de los huéspedes.

Deberes y responsabilidades esenciales:

  • Voluntad de aceptar el papel más eficaz.
  • Reabastecer el inventario de almacenes, según sea necesario
  • Ayuda a los asistentes de habitación a quitar la ropa de cama y las toallas sucias y a retirar la basura de las habitaciones
  • Recoge la ropa sucia de las habitaciones vacías/sucias y la transporta a la lavandería.
  • Distribuye ropa de cama y baño limpia desde la lavandería hasta los almacenes.
  • Entrega artículos a las habitaciones a pedido del huésped.
  • Recoge y devuelve al almacenamiento cualquier artículo solicitado por el huésped utilizado anteriormente que se encuentre en las habitaciones o pasillos (es decir, cuna, cama plegable)
  • Limpia las habitaciones y áreas de huéspedes; incluyendo, entre otros: hacer las camas, quitar el polvo, pasar la aspiradora, limpiar baños, limpiar ventanas y espejos y reemplazar suministros
  • Se comunica con el supervisor para cualquier tarea o solicitud especial.
  • Mantiene un ambiente de trabajo seguro y saludable siguiendo estándares y procedimientos; cumpliendo con las normas de seguridad
  • Sigue los procedimientos relacionados con la protección contra patógenos transmitidos por la sangre.
  • Utiliza productos químicos según las instrucciones y se familiariza con todas las MSDS.
  • Otras tareas especificadas por el supervisor de limpieza "según sea necesario"

Si no hay una persona del Espacio Público en el hotel, la Persona de la Casa también es responsable de lo siguiente:

  • Mantiene y limpia áreas públicas y baños públicos.
  • Garantiza que las ventanas y puertas internas estén libres de huellas dactilares y manchas
  • Garantiza que los muebles y las superficies duras del espacio público estén limpios y organizados.
  • Los pisos del espacio público están libres de escombros
  • Informa cualquier mancha o derrame en la alfombra al supervisor.
  • Vacia todos los contenedores de basura en espacios públicos.


Calificaciones:

  • Familiarizado con la limpieza; incluyendo saneamiento, operación de lavandería y servicio al huésped.
  • Levante hasta treinta (30) libras, sin ayuda
  • Agacharse, estirarse, pararse, caminar y usar escaleras durante el turno.
