Road Technician

** This position is located in Tampa Florida**

Environmental Products Group is a best-in-class municipal and infrastructure equipment distributor with multiple locations in the Southeast. This is an opportunity to join a growing team within our amazing company. The successful candidate will become an integral part of the Service team. We are currently looking for a Road Technician. This individual should be self-motivated and dedicated, with skills tailored toward multitasking, quality workmanship and attention to detail.

Job description

Come work in a fast-growing company that covers the Southeast with premier product lines. We are looking for passionate & seasoned road technicians to help support a heavy-duty truck service center.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Responding to roadside service calls promptly and efficiently.
• Diagnosing vehicle issues and performing minor & major repairs or adjustments to get vehicles back in working condition.
• Warranty repairs
• Basic preventative maintenance
• Repair quoting.
• Customer contact and scheduling
• Accustomed to dealing with manufacturer tech support to include reading wiring diagrams, programing etc. (preferred)

Job Type: Full Time

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Office Hours are 7a – 5p.

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour based on experience

Requirements:

• Driver’s License
• Clean MVR/must be insurable.
• Self-driven
• Work with minimal supervision.
• Basic computer skills

Experience:

• 3yr mechanical experience (required)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
