Goldfish Swim School is Looking for FUN, ENERGETIC individuals who like to splash and play in the pool

We provide the training so no previous instructor experience is required. You just need to LOVE working

with children and the water

We are dedicated to developing our children into confident, life-long swimmers. We would love to have

you as part of our program and we hope to see you in our pools soon

Swim Instructors teach students ranging in ages 4 months - 12 years in a 90 degree pool

Looking to fill positions ASAP. Hiring process can take less than 1 week

General Requirements:


Must have reliable transportation.

Promote a positive environment that fosters fun, safety, and learning

Treat every student fairly and equally regardless of circumstances and abilities, making each feel

good about themselves and encouraging a fun environment.

Arrive with ample time to report to position at the scheduled time.

Be responsible and fulfill your commitments to scheduled shifts.

Ensure the safety of swim lesson students at all times.

Provides swim instruction based on the Goldfish Swim School curriculum.

Evaluates students progress, and completes required paperwork in a timely manner.

Interacts with parents/guardians on the activities and development of students swim skills. Acts as a GFSS ambassador

to ensure parental satisfaction.

Uses problem solving and creative thinking skills to identify and resolve challenges that students

encounter.

Inspects pool areas before and after each class for possible maintenance, cleanliness or damage

issues. Reports issues to management as appropriate.

Maintains and ensures proper storage of all pool equipment. Places and removes lane lines.

Performs light cleaning duties such as window washing, deck mopping, trash removal etc. on

occasion.

Attend required/mandatory training, workshops and in-service training outside of regular working hours.

Assume other responsibilities as given by a supervisor. Willingness to cross train as needed
