As an Associate Attorney at VC2 Law, you will dive into a dynamic workday filled with diverse legal challenges and opportunities for professional growth. Your mornings may start with preparing for client consultations in areas such as corporate governance, securities offerings or compliance, real estate and business transactions, or tax and estate planning. Throughout the day, you will find yourself immersed in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating essential legal documents, and conducting in-depth research to bolster ongoing transactional strategies. Collaboration with senior attorneys will be integral as you contribute to transaction strategies and participate in client planning meetings and negotiations with opposing parties. Engaging with clients is key, whether in progress updates or exploring tailored estate planning solutions, ensuring each client receives top-notch legal advocacy.

This role calls for a smart, organized individual who is a fast learner, ready to tackle complex legal issues with integrity and excellence.

What you need to be successful:

To excel as an Associate Attorney at VC2 Law in its transactional practice group, candidates must:

  • Hold a Juris Doctorate (JD) Degree and maintain an active bar membership in at least one state (preferably Utah)
  • Possess strong legal research and writing skills
  • Have 1-3 years of experience in transactional law (mergers and acquisitions, securities, and tax law experience are preferred)
  • Possess the ability to effectively manage multiple projects concurrently showcases organizational skills and a proactive approach to workload management.
  • Hold strong interpersonal skills are paramount for client interactions, ensuring clear communication and a client-focused approach.
  • Maintain a commitment to upholding ethical standards in legal practice is non-negotiable, reflecting integrity and professionalism in all aspects of the job.
