Qualification:

As an SAP FICA ISU Consultant, you will play a critical role in supporting and maintaining the SAP ISU FI-CA (Financial Contract Accounting) module, with a focus on the utilities sector. Your responsibilities will include configuring, managing, and troubleshooting the FI-CA processes to ensure seamless operations. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the utilities industry and a strong technical background in SAP ISU FI-CA.

Responsibilities:

  • Application Maintenance Maintain and support the SAP ISU FI-CA application, ensuring its smooth operation and alignment with business requirements
  • Organizational Structure Setup Configure and manage the organizational structure within SAP, including the setup of General Ledger (GL) accounts
  • Transaction Management Set up and manage main and sub-transactions within FI-CA, ensuring accurate processing and reporting of financial data
  • Daily Operations Support Analyze and resolve issues in daily activities such as payment processing, dunning, and working with collection agencies
  • Dunning Process Management Oversee the dunning process, ensuring timely and accurate communication with customers regarding outstanding balances
  • Collections and Installment Plans Manage and configure collection processes, installment plans, and deferrals, ensuring compliance with company policies and customer agreements
  • Month-End/Year-End Activities Support and manage month-end and year-end closing activities, including the transfer of balances and financial reporting

Requirements:

  • 4 to 5 years of experience working in the utilities industry is essential
  • Proven experience in maintaining the SAP ISU FI-CA module, with a focus on utilities
  • Strong knowledge of setting up organizational structures and GL accounts within SAP
  • Experience in configuring main and sub-transactions, and managing daily financial operations
  • In-depth understanding of the dunning process, including the setup and management of collection activities
  • Familiarity with installment plans, deferrals, and their impact on financial operations
