This role will report full-time ON-SITE at our Los Angeles Office.

The Role

Moonbug Entertainment is seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Media Planner to join our dynamic Commercial Sales Team. The ideal candidate will have experience in planning, buying, and optimizing media across our owned media channels to run successful campaigns for our clients. The ideal candidate would have an understanding of digital video advertising formats and strategies and experience utilizing Google Ad Manager and Google Ads. The right candidate will be capable of, or is interested in learning about, running paid media campaigns in the children's entertainment space. In this role you will have stewardship of campaign management from planning to launch optimization to finance reconciliation. You will be working with some of the biggest global advertising brands, helping them achieve their marketing and business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive media plans that align with client marketing goals and target audience.
  • Collaborate with our Sales, Client Success, and Strategy teams to understand campaign objectives and translate them into actionable media strategies.
  • Plan and execute media buys across various channels, optimizing strategies based on performance insights and market trends.
  • Monitor media spend and performance, ensuring campaigns are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Provide regular reports and updates on campaign performance to stakeholders.
  • Work closely with other internal teams, including creative, content, and social media, to ensure cohesive campaign execution.
  • Track and report on media expenditures, ensuring alignment with budget forecasts.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, media innovations, and the competitive landscape.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to enhance clients’ media strategies and stay ahead of market changes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
  • Must have working knowledge of platforms such as GAM, Google Ads, DV360 etc.
  • Strong understanding of media planning principles, tools, and techniques.
  • Proficiency in media planning software and analytics tools.
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
