Desired Shift:
Days - 8HRS: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:45 PM

Need Description: The candidate must be skilled in drawing blood, with the ability to handle 25-30 labs to be drawn first thing in the morning. Proficiency in venipuncture (blood draws), EKG, ear lavage, immunizations, and taking vitals is essential. Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR), particularly EPIC, is preferred.

Duties:

  • Deliver care to patients utilizing the Certified Medical Assistant Process.
  • Communicate with patients regarding test results and plans of care by phone or mail as directed by the physician.
  • Ensure patient safety and protect patient privacy rights.
  • Assist in the front office as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the practice manager, more senior staff, or as requested by healthcare provider(s).
  • Demonstrate agility in multitasking.

Required Qualifications:

  • At least one year of outpatient clinic experience (such as urgent care) in the past 3 years.
  • Skilled in venipuncture (blood draws), EKG, ear lavage, immunizations, and taking vitals.
  • EMR experience, with EPIC experience preferred.

Certifications:

  • For LVN: Must hold a valid LVN license.
  • For CMA: Must hold a valid CMA certification.

Compensation:

  • CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) pay rate depends on experience:
    • 0-1 year: ***
    • 1-2 years: ***
    • 2+ years: ***

Note: Experience in SNF, Corrections, Behavioral Health, LTC, Home Health, and Rehab do not qualify for THPG clinics.
