Essential Functions of an Ultrasound Technologist

• Performing general ultrasound exams, including breast, small parts, vascular and obstetrical exams in a timely and complete manner
• Correlation of clinical history to the test that is being performed
• Assure that all exams include accurate clinical and demographic information and high quality, complete images
• Deliver exceptional customer care
• Work as part of a team to assist radiologists, fellow technologists and office staff as needed
• Adherence to safety protocols
• Must be committed to quality patient care and exceptional customer service
• Must be an excellent communicator (written and verbal), who can form and maintain effective working relationships with staff, radiologists, referring physicians and patients

**Part-time Ultrasound Tech must be able to work 2 evenings per week and Saturday shifts as needed

Required Education and Experience

• Minimum of 1 year experience in general ultrasound, including breast, small parts, vascular and obstetrical exams
• High School degree or equivalent
• Graduate of an Accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program
• Accreditation by ARDMS
