Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

Prepare lesson plans utilizing industry-standard approaches, such as multimedia and adult learning methodologies. Infrastructure Security: Instruct students on infrastructure security, covering topics like vulnerabilities, wireless security, risk assessment, intrusion detection, business continuity, disaster recovery, firewall architecture, and cryptography.
Teaches courses as assigned, instructs, and evaluates students, develops students’ skills and encourages growth, and tracks their attendance, performance, and grades.
Educate students on various cyber threats, including malware, phishing, social engineering, and hacking, and explain how these threats can compromise their privacy, security, and personal information.
Recognizing Phishing Attempts: Guide students in identifying phishing attempts, which typically manifest as deceptive emails, text messages, or websites.

  • Participates in various administrative activities (e.g., attends faculty/staff meetings or in-service meetings).
  • Participates in graduation ceremonies, as assigned.
  • Participates regularly in continuing professional development activities.
  • Performs other duties or special projects as assigned.
  • Performs Penetration Testing (Pen Testing)

Education/Experience Needed:

  • Must have an associate degree or higher in cybersecurity or a related field.
  • Must have at least 4 years of related practical work experience.
