We are seeking a NDE Rope Access Technician for a position in Lake Charles, LA. Performs nondestructive inspection of material, parts, components, and/or pressurized systems; interprets data from tests; maintains equipment; and supervises NDE activities in accordance to referencing code. Non-exempt role; Reports to Area Manager; Develops procedures for performance of variety of duties / performs complex duties within established guidelines.
Essential Qualifications:
- Must have valid drivers license
- Must have TWIC card
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent
- Rope Access Certification (Sprat or Irata) required
- NDT Certification (UTT Minimum) required
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test
- Must be considered local to the job. Per diem is not included
- Documentation needed: certifications and resume
- Level II NDT certification (SNT-TC-1A)
- Must possess excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and problem solving skills
- Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation
- Job site safety requirements as required by the client (long sleeves, steel toe boots, etc.)
- Safety equipment as required by the client (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, respirator, hearing protection, safety harness with lanyard, etc.)
- Applicant/employee must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of such individual or others in the workplace
Functional Requirements:
Conducts NDT inspections in various methods, Interprets and reports results of inspections, Provide support to Level II, Instruct and/or supervise trainees, Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction
Compensation
Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.

Physical Involvement:
