Vice President of Digital Solutions

Location: Candidate must reside or be willing to relocate to Baton Rouge, New Orleans, or Lafayette, LA

Job Summary:

As the Vice President of Digital Solutions at Georges Media, you will lead our digital sales department, driving innovation and excellence across all aspects of digital advertising. This role is crucial for ensuring product development, campaign success, and the overall profitability of our digital solutions. You will be responsible for the training and development of our sales team and will assist with large accounts to maximize their digital marketing impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement cutting-edge digital sales strategies that align with the company’s goals and market trends.
  • Product Development: Oversee the creation and enhancement of digital advertising products to meet the evolving needs of our clients.
  • Sales Training and Support: Train and guide the sales team on digital product offerings, sales techniques, and market strategies. Provide expert assistance on key accounts and complex sales negotiations.
  • Campaign Management: Ensure the effectiveness of digital advertising campaigns, focusing on maximizing ROI and customer satisfaction.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage pricing strategies and oversee the profitability of all digital solutions.
  • Technology Expertise: Stay abreast of technological advancements and trends in digital advertising, including SEM, SEO, programmatic advertising (display, video, audio), digital out-of-home, social media advertising, and email marketing.
  • Platform Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Google Ad Manager (GAM), major Demand-Side Platforms (DSPs), and other advertising technology platforms.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a senior digital sales or marketing role, preferably in a media company.
  • Extensive knowledge of digital marketing disciplines including SEM, SEO, programmatic advertising, and social media advertising.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and train sales teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with a proven track record in strategic planning and financial management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of fostering strong client and team relationships.
  • Hands-on experience with digital advertising technologies and platforms.
