Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Assistant Warehouse Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the Warehouse Manager in overseeing the daily operations of our warehouse, ensuring the efficient and effective management of inventory and resources.

Responsibilities/Duties

- Assist the Warehouse Manager in planning and coordinating warehouse activities.

- Supervise warehouse staff and provide guidance on daily tasks.

- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

- Oversee inventory management, including receiving, storing, and shipping products.

- Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager to optimize warehouse processes for efficiency.

- Monitor and report on warehouse performance metrics.

- Assist in conducting regular inventory counts and audits.

- Ensure proper handling and documentation of goods in compliance with company policies.

- Assist in the training and development of warehouse personnel.

- Participate in the implementation of safety and security measures.

-Document procedures and work instructions for team members to reference throughout the workday

-Refine onboarding procedures for new employees

-Focus on continuous improvement of processes, flows, and team members

Desired Education/ Experience

- Proven experience in a warehouse or fulfillment role

- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

- Familiarity with warehouse management software and systems.

- Knowledge of safety and quality standards.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

- Forklift certification (preferred).

- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed (99% of the time will be day shift with a rare Saturday shift during high volume periods)
