Umyuaq Technology, LLC, a Wood River Federal company, is seeking an experienced and creative Senior Internet/Intranet Webmaster. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing websites, generating and revising web pages, collaborating with content contributors, and addressing user feedback. The position requires a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. This job is contingent upon contract award.

Type: Contract


Scope: Will support the daily operations of JBLM DPW IT Infrastructure. JBLM DPW has physical and virtual servers, desktop computers and notebook computers running Windows operating systems. Other hardware includes printers, large-width plotters, scanners and smartphones. DPW also runs a wide variety of desktop & enterprise software and supports users connecting to enterprise systems run by other organizations.

 

Shall provide the following services as a part of the DPW IT department:
• Cybersecurity, hardware support, software support and user management for DPW server systems, DPW common user equipment (such as workstations, printers, scanners, and accessories), DPW Industrial Control Systems (ICS), and DPW Facility Related Control Systems (FRCS).
• Operate an Information Technology (IT) Help Desk to receive requests via phone, email and walk-in.
• GIS Services
• CAD Services
• Database Administration
• Web Services
• Data Analyst Services
• Configuration Control


Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain the organization's internet and intranet websites.
• Generate and revise web pages to ensure they are user-friendly, visually appealing, and up-to-date.
• Collaborate with content contributors to develop and publish relevant, engaging, and accurate content.
• Respond to user comments and feedback, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
• Implement and maintain web design best practices, ensuring optimal site performance and usability.
• Monitor website traffic, analyze user behavior, and provide insights for continuous improvement.
• Ensure websites are secure, adhering to industry standards and organizational policies.
• Stay current with emerging web technologies and trends to keep the websites modern and effective.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for web-related issues.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to web development and maintenance processes.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):
Knowledge:
• Extensive knowledge of web design principles and best practices.
• Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development languages.
• Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Drupal, or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of web analytics tools and techniques.


Skills:
• Proficient in designing and developing responsive, user-friendly websites.
• Skilled in generating and revising web pages to meet organizational needs.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with content contributors and stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.


Abilities:
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Capability to respond to user comments and feedback professionally and effectively.

Qualifications:
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience designing websites, generating and revising web pages, working with content contributors, and replying to user comments.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Web Design, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
• Certifications: Relevant web design or development certifications are a plus.
