Job Purpose

To help maintain the smooth flow of warehouse operations.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Receiving and documenting merchandise for delivery or return
  • Keeping an inventory of all merchandise entering or exiting the warehouse
  • Identifying any missing, lost, or damaged materials and immediately notifying the supervisor.
  • Ensuring that all the merchandise is safely and securely packed and labeled for shipping.
  • Prepare orders by pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area.
  • Loading orders onto trucks for delivery.
  • Preserves a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat.

Qualifications

  • High School Graduate
  • Prior experience working in a warehouse.
  • Ability to operate machinery (forklift, reach truck, floor scrubber, etc.)
  • Ability to work independently and safely.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work cohesively as part of a team.

Working conditions

Ability to work in a variety of temperatures.


Physical requirements

Ability to work on feet for 8 hours and lift 50lbs.
